Mild taste, a bit fruity. Chefs love them because they are great in anything...eggs, soup etc. and can pick up other flavors. You can dehydrate them to have all winter as I do. Most often they can be found scattered under Oak trees. They remind me of Lillys and can be seen easily on the woods floor. Don't mistake them for the bright orange, Jack O Lanterns that grow in clusters.
