KYTC, District 8, says intersection will need 14 more days

2015-07-06 - KY 55 & KY 206, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, CM photo.
"While work is progressing at the intersection of KY 55X and KY 206 in Adair County, additions to the project, along with recent weather, will delay the completion and reopening of the intersection for approximately two weeks, Amber Hale, spokesperson for KY Transportation Cabinet, District 8, Somerset, KY, announced today. That pushes the if-all-goes-as-planned new projected completion day to July 22, 2015. The photo above shows linemen working to move Windstream phone lines farther north to make room for a turning lane and an entrance to the old Burton Bros. station lot, now a part of Assisted Mobility Systems manufacturing facility.
