Joyce Coomer: The morning glories
 2015-07-09 - Adams Alley, Columbia, KY - Photo by Joyce Coomer. Joyce Coomer writes: "Here are photos of the morning glories the one time I managed to get them left alone long enough to bloom. Sadly, they were cut down a few days later, even though they were still blooming. Thankfully, some blooms had matured and seeded so there was a start for the next year. The blooms are no more than an inch wide, if that large. There used to be a crop of white ones further down the sidewalk from the red ones but constant mowing has obliterated them."

Maggie, timid boxer, is lost from Mt. Carmel area
 2015-07-09 - Mt. Carmel, Adair County, KY - Photo by Aaron Burkhardt. Our 1 year old Boxer, Maggie, slipped out of her collar and ran off from Mt. Carmel Road towards Cane Valley last night. Someone's dog is wandering Bill Turner RD, Columbia, KY

She has a collar with a blue plastic tag, but no info. She appears to be looking for someone, like family, she almost never stops walking. If you have lost this lonesome dog you can find here in this neighborhood. This is 2.5 miles east on Hwy 80. - JOE HARE
