Rob Wilkerson nominated to fill possible CAUD seat

Columbia Manufacturer Anthony Janes, President of Fabco, Inc., has sent a letter of nomination to the Public Service Commission recommending Columbia businessman Rob Wilkerson to fill a possible seat on the Columbia Adair County Utilities District board. The nomination was dated October 27, 2015, and was logged at the PSC site today, Monday, November 2, 2015. It is the second nomination sent to the commission.

On the left is the first Derby book, printed for the 107th Derby in 1981, and six years later, the printing company's first Breeders' Cup book, printed for the fourth Breeders Club, held at Hollywood Park. - EW

Dinesh is manager of the Columbia Best Western Hotel. They were married in Houston, Texas. The photo above was taken at cousin's wedding in Nashville. Dinesh has been manager of the Columbia Best Western for five months.

CU Church Outreach in Boyle County Sunday

Dr. J. Timothy Mathis, pastor of First Baptist Church Danville, with his wife at left, welcomed President and Mrs. Michael V. Carter along with Campbellsville University students and leaders to their service Sunday, Nov. 1. With them in this photo, at right, is Dr. Jim Clontz, Director of Missions at South District Baptist Association, who helped coordinate the CU Church Outreach second Day of Kingdom Advance in Boyle County. He is a former adjunct professor at CU and is a member of the Church Relations Council. Twenty life teams participated in services in 20 different churches in the association Sunday. - LW
