An amazing 200 volunteers donated 339 hours at the Wheet Fellowship Hall alone this week. This group of Individuals from LWC loaded the final carton of OCC boxes on to the trailer Monday afternoon. Stella-Grace and Montgomery Cato made the final delivery of the day at the Wheet Fellowship today. The official number of OCC boxes in Adair County will be released late this afternoon. Community Relations Director Mark Fudge is hopeful and confident that Adair County will eclipse the 3,200 mark. (Update: Mark Fudge is reporting the drive whizzed past it's goal of 3,000, and set a new record). CHS senior Chase Thomas receives industry certification

Campbellsville High School senior Chase Thomas recently passed exams to receive globally recognized industry certification. Thomas passed all three of the required IC3 Certiport exams, as of Monday, Nov. 23, to receive certification and be deemed career ready in the information technology career pathway. Those exams include key applications, living online and computing fundamentals. After receiving the certification, Thomas is now college and career ready. Sonya Kessler is the CHS computer science teacher. - Calen McKinney

This Great Blue Heron provided what seemed like 15 minutes of entertainment at lunch today, Monday, November 23, 2015 long enough for us to take some 50 pictures.
