Heroes can help ACPC class get matching $$$ for supplies

2016-01-28 - ACPC, 158 Col. Casey Drive, Columbia, KY - Photo from Adair County Primary Center. Lisa Hayes, Teacher, with students Luxy McQueary, Reese Bardin and Damon Edwards with faces showing. There's now only 3 days left to raise $228 in Lisa Hayes' Donors Choose project, On the Move in the First Grade. The total needed for the project is $548. Half of that will be matched if donated by January 31, 2016. So far $51 dollars have been donated and matched. We need $223 more in donations to fund the project. Lisa Hayes writes in her description of the project, "My students need writing notebooks and writing center prompts, listening CDs with books, markers, colored pencils, and stamps for working with words." Just a few education heroes, may one, could see this project successfully completed today. Won't you help? The DonorsChoose.org site is amazingly easy to use. Your donation, in any amount, will be matched, and will mean so much to these students. Take a moment now - let's see how much we can raise by 9amCT, today. To go straight to make a donation, On the Move in the First Grade - Patty R. Jones, Principal

Update 6: 10:59amCT 28 Jan 2016 check at DonorsChoose.org: HOORAY! The project is fully funded.
Update 5: A check at DonorsChoose.org shows only $11 now needed to meet goal.

Update 4: Patty Jones sent note that at 10:30amCT, only $70. is now needed to complete this project!!! Just one check for $70, two for $35, or seven for $10 each will reach this goal.
Update 3: A check at 9:47amCT shows there is now $100 needed, after third donation this morning
Update 2: Check at 9:10amCT, shows total to go now only $150, after second donation this morning.
Update 1: A check at Donor's Choose at 7:30amCT, 28 Jan 2016, shows only $178 to go, after key Adair County Schools supporters - their names are at the Donors Choose.org site - made a generous donation to kickstart today's giving. Maybe there's on hero who wants to put the project over the line, NOW.
