Wayne Toney wrote a winning song about hometown

A song written by Columbia resident Wayne Toney, videographer and songwriter, wrote a song after a visit to his hometown where he saw many changes - like many small towns across America - and it nominated for the Arkansas CMA music video of the year.

Adair County Primary Center receives KEA grant

Congratulations to Adair County Primary Center for being chosen for The Kentucky Education Association’s Read Across America Grant for the 2025-2026 school year. This grant will allow ACPC to celebrate Read Across America by funding diverse and engaging books, host literacy events, and create reading activities and experiences that will inspire lifelong readers.
