A purchase of the new book, History of the Adair County Fair, helps raise funds for the fair to grow and be as meaningful for future generations as it has been for past ones.

Author Rodney White gives thanks to many who helped make the book a treasure by sharing their memories from childhood. He also thanks those who helped produce it.

Tortilla Pinwheels were a hit at the weekend Reeves reunion at the family homeplace in the Shiloh community of Adair County. Jane Aaron made these and also took peach ice cream to add to the desserts table.

Increased water patrols for July 4 weekend

Travel: Shaker Village Buildings, 3 of 3

Robert writes, "In my opinion, the main attraction at Shaker Village is the structures. Having jumped the gun by coming up early on Friday, and with no antique vehicles on display for the Vintage Dad's Day until Saturday, I focused my attention on photographing just them. On the plus side there were very few people touring the grounds, that allowed for taking photos at a slower pace."
