David Herbst, left, as vice chair, presided at the joint meeting of the Adair County Hospital District Board of Trustees last night, Tue 29 Mar 2016, following the resignation of Richard Grant, as Board Chairman and the appointment last week by Adair Fiscal Court, of Neal Gold, right, to the board seat formerly held by Bruce White, whose term ended. The board will hold regular meetings in the Basement of the Adair Annex on the last Tuesday of each month, at 6:30pmCT. Mr. Gold, who was CEO of Westlake Regional Hospital, will return to volunteer position - unpaid - while serving on the District Board of Trustees, and was elected Chair of the board at the meeting. This is our road. 2016-03-30 - Between Exie & Mell, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, CM photo. This is our family's road, these guardian guys seemed to say as we were trying to take in a vista over the redbuds above. The picture was taken on the road between Exie, Green County, KY, and Mell, Metcalfe County, KY, not far from the Adair County line. After the dogs did their duty, they seemed quite pleased with themselves, and enjoyed their little piece of paradise. South Central Kentucky is a redbud paradise this year.
