The Creelsboro Arch Monument at the entrance to Rock House Bottom gives a brief history of the area. It reads: Creelsboro Arch, unpublicized and uncommercialized. 300,000,000 million years old -- danger falling rock and snake area. History of area: used by Indians fishing and hunting here in summer, burying dead on top. Rediscovered by the Long Hunters in 1792, named the Rock House in 1812 when the settlers used it for meetings and as picnic area. Chapel built from natural materials, canopy of heaven is the roof, the good earth is the floor, the void between heaven and earth is the walls. Campbellsville ES Wings Express students learn about worms 2016-04-12 - Campbellsville Elementary School, 315 Roberts Road (campus), Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Calen McKinney, Public Information Officer, CIS. Campbellsville Elementary School Wings Express kindergarten students recently learned all about worms. After reading a book about the creatures, students used pudding and gummy worms to show how worms are good for the soil. And, after they buried the worms in their pudding, students ate their snack as a special treat. Above CES kindergartener Kenady Gabehart smiles as she sees her gummy worm is now covered with chocolate pudding. Wings Express is a program to help students with homework and other activities. Amanda Barnett is director. Students stay at school from 3pm to 5pmET on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 1pm to 3pmET on Fridays for activities. Students are given a snack and then divided into groups to participate in programs that best fit their needs. There are about 90 students enrolled in the Wings Express program.
