Plant is a mystery to us? Do you know what's about to happen?

Every inch of landscape becomes precious close up - And most new discoveries about the land are only possible up close and personal. This plant was found in a 25 minute walk in a beautiful little valley. It's doesn't particularly stand out at this stage, though it is regal and understated in all green. We'd like to know what to expect in the next hours or days. We'd take a quick answer from an expert, even advice on how this plant should be Googled. We aim to go back. But would really appreciate help. Initially, the stop was to see if we could find an elusive May Apple flower. Didn't, but the sight of them elicited a childhood memory: Linda remembered their real purpose: They make excellent doll umbrellas. Staff, guest, and new arrival at Green River Animal Shelter

What a happy place. Green River Animal Shelter is having continued success, evident by all the Happy faces there. Kim Tucker, left, the Director, is holding Ava, her puppy. Tammy Campbell, right, is holding the new Top Dog and official mascot, center, and a new arrival, a black puppy, who may be available for adoption if a pending one is not confirmed. "Layla has won the hearts here at the shelter," Director Tucker says. "After coming in with a cracked pelvis and fluids on her hip, we nursed her back to health and in the mean time was winning our hearts with those sweet puppy eyes. So she is now officially the shelter MASCOT. She greets everyone coming and going with her wagging tail and beautiful face." Things couldn't be in better hands. - EW/LW
