The Adair County Baseball team collected food items in lieu of admission at recent home games in order to support the Adair County Elementary School Backpack Buddies food program. Coach Mike Mantooth and booster member Joann Montgomery presented the items to ACES teacher and Backpack Buddies coordinator, Rachel Bardin this week. In addition to the home crowd donations, visiting spectators from North Hardin and Cumberland County also contributed to the cause.
