LWC Ash Wednesday service marks beginning of Lenten Season

Lindsey Wilson College senior Megan Rauch of Alexandria, KY, receives ashes on her forehead from LWC Campus Pastor Carol Weddle during Wednesday morning's Ash Wednesday service, held in the college's John B. Begley Chapel. For many Christians, Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a season of spiritual preparation that includes 40 days of fasting before Easter.
