Snow Mountain, Columbia, KY, but not enough for skiing

2016-02-18 - Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener.
This snow mountain created by the Columbia Street Department could be hanging around, waiting for more, but already, some professional in the prophesying business have privately told us that winter is over. The question is, how long before this mountain melts? And don't we always have a one day blizzard in March? One that goes from one of North Dakotan fierceness, blowing blinding snow and creating what looks like the new ice age for a couple of hours, then melts by sundown? Or is that just remembering big. -EW

Jamie Comer East Region Campaign Coordinator Tiffany Kessler

2016-02-18 - Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener.
Adair County political leader Tiffany Hadley Kessler, was smiling following what she assessed as a really good meeting, and later reported that her husband, Eddie Kessler, counted over 100 in attendance in a hall with seats for around 60 people - a pretty accurate figure, considering people were standing around the walls and out into the hallway. Behind her is a Rand Paul volunteer, Beaver Corder of Somerset, KY. Tiffany Kessler is the Eastern Region, 1st Congressional District of Kentucky, campaign coordinator for former Kentucky Commissioner of Agriculture Jamie Comer.
