Those present at the Heartland Parkway meeting at the State Capitol in Frankfort, KY, Thursday, February 18, 2016, from Adair County, were above front row, Magistrates Billy Dean Coffey (District 5) and Greg Caldwell (6); and behind them, center, Lindsey Wilson College Vice President Dean Adams, Adair County Magistrate, Harold Burton (1). Also in attendance, in linked photo were Charles & Holly Grimsley . The meeting concerned the construction of the Parkway to Campbellsville and the Heartland Parkway bypass on the South Side of Campbellsville. Dr. Chowning, who has been a champion of the Heartland Parkway from its beginning and is founder of the Heartland Parkway Foundation chaired the meeting.
