Adair Co. School District honored as 2016 High Progress District

Principals Steve Burton, ACES; Alma Rich, ACMS; Patty Jones, ACPC; and Troy Young, Adair County High School; Superintendend Alan W. Reed, and Academic Dean Phyllis Curry, with the Certificate Recognizing the system as a High Progress District, at last night's regular third Thursday Adair County School Board meeting. Looking on, at right, is Board Member Mike Harris, representing District 5. Dean Curry noted, too, that the district was just .2% away from being rated a "Proficient District," the next to the highest rating the State Department of Education ranks. - EW
