Birds of Kentucky: Black vulture in flight

High overhead, above, a gliding black vulture is beautiful in the sky, flying a pattern the the reverse of the frequent medical helicopters which come south through this air space. But on low approaches flying low from the east, the giant birds, are, at the least disconcerting - especially when one is out for a peaceful walk with one's peaceful cat. - EW.
