Supplicating tree in the Little Renox, Salem Park 2016-05-28 - Salem Park Road, Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com (c). Thumbing through the photos, this picture didn't stand out at first, but unless someone can explain a tree with a bended knee, which what appears to be growing through an upturned rock in Little Renox Creek by Salem Park, it will require a drive back to see if what is seen in the center of the photo is what is actually there. The photos taken today don't reach a level where foliage is evident - or not. Oddly the Little Renox was almost bone dry, today; and its pretty little water falls had only a hint of water; the Big Renox was low, but not so dry as its smaller tributary, which flows through a sight missed on today's Daytrip, Purgatory Hollow.
