Their pocket change helped save kids' lives

Shown here are members of one of Ms. Amy Walker's grade reading classes who helped save the lives of 78 children by working with the entire 4th grade to collect pocket change to purchase insecticide treated mosquito nets for children in Africa where a child dies every minute from the deadly disease. Emma Harmon, Maggie Brummett, and Breann Franklin were doing using 3-D printer pens to create drawings for a competition at Idea Fest. They attended the festival in Bowling Green, KY on Friday, March 18, 2016, with Candice Flatt and Cayce Davenport. The high school hopes to have 3-D printers in the future. - Candice Flatt
