Reed called the most exciting advance for technology ever in Adair County Schools. Board members approved a landmark personal educational device purchase of iPads and Chromebooks, assuring a 1 device for every two students next year, super fast Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) campus telephone system with 4-digit dialing and as yet to be announced cost savings; and Carla Perkins, Technology Coordinator, asked for an received approval to sell surplus technology equipment for over $70,000.
