Scenic Cumberland Co., KY: Christmas in July?

2016-07-13 - Downtown Burkesville, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com (c).
Evening lights play wonderful shades in the evening, everywhere, but no where more than in the Cumberland River Valley. In Burkesville, when lights are coming on in the Valley, Downtown, there full sunlight dancing down the hill. The Alpine Motel is visible in the top left of the photo, and the strands or Christmas lights in the walkway in the middle aren't that at all, but light glistening on utility cables. - EW
