Birds of Kentucky: Bird Band uses Killdeer Field for early morning practice
2016-07-31 - ACHS 526 Indian Drive, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com (c). Killdeer mass in the parking lot/band practice field at Adair County High School in early morning. For some reason, more of the highly entertaining species seem to have an affinity for the parking lot than any other location I've seen. Even without BOE approval, the band of birds has found adaptive co-use very much to their liking. - EW. Photo 31 July 2016.
