He writes, "I was in Long Beach, CA and I did drive the Tesla around the block. I was really surprised by how quiet it was. I really was impressed by the way that it accelerated, it has a trunk on both ends of the car too. I do believe that this will replace gasoline engines in the future. The ride was very comfortable with great suspension, but this model cost 110 thousand dollars." Paired photo. On this rainy afternoon, waiting to get back into traffic after my haircut at Nancy McKinney's Glamourette Salon, I pondered why any driver would want to go around Columbia's round square now that there's the option of sailing across the Veterans Memorial Bypass? I decided there was no better place to pose that question than on columbiamagazine.com where professional drivers who know the roads, safety and best routes are respected. So, drivers of big trucks, what is the benefit of driving downtown when you don't have a delivery there? Do you just love visiting the square as I do? Love seeing the old courthouse and the tradition it represents? Is it safer than the bypass? Is it quicker than the bypass to certain routes?
