CES kindergarten students draw self-portraits: Addison Beckley
2016-08-20 - Campbellsville Elementary School, 315 Roberts Road (campus), Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Calen McKinney, Public Information Officer, Campbellsville Independent Schools (CIS). Campbellsville Elementary School students recently drew self-portraits to show the importance of being themselves. In Adrienne Hash's art class, kindergarteners recently read the story "Ruby the Copycat," which showed students how Ruby copied her classmate. The classmate didn't like being copied, and Ruby learned that it's important that she be herself. Hash told students they can be anything they want to, but it's most important for them to always be an individual. Above - CES kindergartener Addison Beckley holds her self-portrait. - Calen McKinney
