At the right hour, the sun makes the crown of this water maple glow like a Christmas tree, making our return home rather magical. However, this is not news about pretty colors, which are just about commonplace right now. Rather, it is about the smartest animal in the county, our Mr. Blue, Cat Waggener, who never ceases to amaze with his ambition and industry. He's either doing his best to entertain, do good, be useful. This fall, we've found him patiently sitting under any one of our trees, watching the leaves fall, and at the right moment, swing a paw to knock the leaf aside.
