The photo was taken from above the remains of the long-since-gone Young Mill. A note to anyone going there: This is one of the most dangerous vantage points from an County Road in Adair County. There's no guard rail, the shoulders are the best, and in some places, were one to fall, there's almost no brush to break a fall. Two beautiful dogs were guarding this Coffey Hole area where Clifty Creek flows into Russell Creek. They were seen Sunday afternoon, Christmas Day, December 25, 2016. Later in the day, ColumbiaMagazine.com received word that Zoie, whose people are Tiffany & Curtis Grant, was missing from the Joppa area, and a portrait of her we received looked a lot like white dog above. But that wasn't the case. It's a good distance, in dog miles, from Joppa to the Coffey Hole. And scarcely minutes after CM received the panic note that Zoie was missing than Tiffany Grant sent word that Curtis had found Zoie. So whose dogs are these?
