Mayor and Judge Executive positive about growth

Celebrating diversity at Campbellsville Univesity

This picture seemed to be to be worth more than a thousand words on the subject of how we might appear opposite outwardly, yet be the same in spirit and dedication to equaity for all. CU School of Education professor Dr. Beverly Ennis, right, and Greater Campbellsville United Executive Director Wanda Washington, left, were together at the annual Campbellsville University celebration of the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. this week and the luncheon afterward in honor of speaker Dr. Gerald L. Smith. At the luncheon President Michael V. Carter announced the beginning of a new focus at CU called 'Learning to Live Together' intended to take their diversity program to a new level. -- LW

Butch, Anthony & Tammy Reeses' dog, has new soulmate

Star, the tiny tortoiseshell kitten (See: Wikipedia, Tortoiseshell cat, and Butch, the family pet of the late Anthony & Tammy Reese, and the corporate pet of Anthony's Auto Sales in Coburg, KY, are now really close buddies. Everyone is Coburg has noticed not only the friendship of the odd pair, but also the similarities in in their color pattern. So far, a picture of the two together has evaded local photographers, but will be posted along the way as the friendship blossoms. Paired photo: See - Butch is back. Still sad, but new friend is brightening life
