Campbellsville Elementary School recently named its Leaders of the Month for the month of April 2017. Students chosen were selected because they excel at the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, specifically Sharpen the Saw. The students will be honored at a luncheon on Wednesday, April 26, with local community leaders. Students who were named Leaders of the Month include, from left front, second-grader Trever Lasley, third-grader John Gholston and first-grader Shylan Dunn. Homeplace Spring Festival: Readying Butterfly Garden for today 2017-04-22 - Homeplace on Green River, 5807 New Columbia Road, Campellsville, KY - Photo by George Kolbenschlag. A spring cleaning for the butterfly garden at Homeplace was part of work preparing for Plow Day and Spring Festival, today, Sat 22 Apr 2017. The festival starts at 8amCT/9amET and ends at 4pmCT/5pmET. More than 50 exhibits, demonstrations, live music performers, artists and crafters animals and food vendors are scheduled showcase early Kentucky agriculture. The $10 per car parking includes all of the activities at the festival. Homeplace is located at 5807 New Columbia Road (state highway 55) between Columbia and Campbellsville.
