Howdy Ya'll! My name is "Gomer" I'm only a year old. I'm a boy. I'm a terrier mix with some unique colors. I'm a lover of outside time. I'm still young so I have a lot of energy and I would love a fenced in place to run. I can run really fast, or I can be calm. Squeaky toys are my favorite. Contact my caretakers at Green River Animal Shelter if you want me. My Adoption fee is $50.00 which completely covers the cost to get me neutered at my local vet. 270-385-9655 - TAMMY CAMPBELL, Director, Green River Animal Shelter, 455 Appleby Drive, Columbia, KY, Open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 10am-5pmCT and Saturdays 10am-2pmCT.

Hello there! My name is Marley. I'm only 1 1/2 years old. I was surrendered by my old owners because they were moving and I could not join them. I'm a really loveable guy! Despite all my fur, I rarely shed. I'm a fun loving guy who loves being outside. I also love to go on walks and I barely ever bark. I'm a calm soul just looking for a new home with people who will give me lots of love! Kentucky Color: Upset and disappointed - I

2017-07-11 - Greensburg Street near Rice Drive, Columbia, KY - Photo by Billy Joe Fudge, retired district forester, Kentucky Division of Forestry, President of Homeplace on Green River.
The driver was upset and disappointed, not to mention bewildered, that he had missed the "No Thru Truck Traffic" signs the way he came in to Downtown. Most truckers I've spoken to, including this one, realize the "shortest route" is, not always the "best route" and appreciate all the informational signage needed to help them choose the "best route". - BILLY JOE FUDGE.
