Adair, Green, Russell and other Kentucky counties were represented today, Tuesday, August 16, 2017, at a Community Health Training day focusing on environmental, equity and health in all policies -- with health being a collaborative effort. Participants divided up sectors to explore and suggest ways the state can improve in housing, health, air and water quality, mass incarceration/criminal justice, climate and economic development. - LW

When it came time to start her race, she decided that she preferred the giant Slip and Slide that was set up for participants. Her big brother Graham did run, and said it was a great time.

The Authority voted to go-it-alone, if neccessary, to fund the first phase of the Retail Academy survey, and to study a proposal of the Green River Commerce Park's anchor tenant, Robin Wilkerson, to take land Wilkerson owns in the Old Industrial Park trade for acreage in Green River Commerce Park. - EW
