Epicurean Kentuckian: One more way

2017-08-23 - Newport, KY - Photo by Pen.
Most people are familiar with Cincinnati style chili, and ordering up to a "5-way" to get some combination of spaghetti, chili, cheese, onions and beans. Dixie Chili and Deli on Monmouth takes it to the metaphorical "eleven" (a literal "six") with chopped garlic as an additional topping. The plate shown skipped the beans and added the garlic, which lent a very pungent bite.

Tamra Wilson: Did anyone else witness this split sunset?

2017-08-23 - On the Road in Green County, KY. (Witnessed also by by Miss Victoria and Girls at the Pampered Angus Ranch in Greater Bliss, Adair County, KY) - Photo by Tamra Wilson.
For Monday's Eclipse, I traveled with my current clients from Hopkinsville, KY, to their home in Paris KY. Due to extreme traffic jams, we diverted from the expressways and took a back roads route. Wound up traveling through parts of Green County, where I looked to the west and saw something in the sky that I had never seen before. I've also received information from Miss Vicky of Greater Bliss that it was visible to her and her girls. I'm just curious how far and wide this was visible, and if other people took note. I did a bit of research and found some information about this phenomenon: EPOD/Split Sunset - TAMRA WILSON.
