Perhaps the town's most famous long-haired Dachshund, Jakky (pronounced "Jakey," but a friend wrote it "Jakky" and the spelling was honored), Jakky is the pet of Columbia City Council Member, former Mayor, and print and broadcast journalist Pam Hoots.
