The weather forecast calls for the fog to burn off by 9amCT, this morning. But at 7:53amCT, the cell phone tower off Gaston Avenue still had the look of a mountain morning in North Carolina. Fortunately, the fogs in September are not "counters," in weather prognosticator Larry Smith's scientific calculations for the number of snows in winter. When listening, Kennon said, students need to watch the speaker with their eyes, keep their voice quiet and their body still and to direct their ears to the person speaking.
