In the absence of Mayor Curtis Hardwick who is at a Housing meeting in Florida, Council Member Ronald Rogers was voted to take the leader's position. Council Member Craig Dean made that motion, and after it was unanimously approved, he made a second motion that Dr. Rogers be the choice for acting mayor anytime in the foreseeable future when the mayor is absent. Members of the ACHS National Honor Society/Beta Club have been busy preparing boxes for Operation Christmas child.
