Mitzi McKinley Bault: A naval veteran's memorabilia 2017-11-10 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Mitzi Bault. Mitzi Bault created this memory case, or shadow box, for memorabilia from L.G. "Peanut" McKinley's service years. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 6097, was Post Commander post quartermaster and secretary treasurer at the post; the small folded flag was present to him for his services as Post Commander. The coin was also presented at a state VFW meeting. The cap is, obviously, the VFW Post 6097 uniform cap. The cartridge was from the Full Military Honors render at his funeral.
