The Lindsey Wilson volleyball team captured the program's third-consecutive and fifth overall Mid-South Conference Tournament championship on Friday, November 10, 2017, with a 3-0 sweep of Campbellsville (KY) at South Warren High School. With the victory, Lindsey Wilson secures the conference's automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament later this month. LWC also captured the MSC Tournament crown in 2011, 2012, 2015 and 2016. It also marks the third-consecutive season Lindsey Wilson has collected both the regular season and tournament conference titles. Guests on the grass 2017-11-10 - Downtown Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. These are among the many guests atop the grass in my yard today. The giant green leaf, the heart shape of a Redbud, only much larger, and the dark brown leaf to its right, are from the Catalpa tree. The top right artfully shaped leaf is from the Mulberry tree. The two small yellow leaves are from the Water Maple tree which has grown to three stories tall in the few short years since my sons grew to six feet. The long yellow leaf shaped like a surf board, or Kayak, is from the Pawpaw tree which has never birthed and raised a single Pawpaw. I had a long talk with it, told it that it is indeed old enough to begin relations and be fruitful.
