Winter 2017 arrived today but heavy rain, not snow, is in the forecast
2017-12-21 - Southern Adair County, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. Today, Thursday, Dec. 21, is the first day of the official 2017 winter season, however rain is predicted, not snow as in this photo of the first snow of the season. The light dusting of snow in this picture was taken at the corner of Toria Road where it meets Blue Ridge Circle. Entrance, Farmers Sharkey, Morehead, Kentucky - Robert Ellis
2017-12-21 - Morehead, Rowan County, KY - Photo by Robert Ellis, Robert Ellis Woodworking.com. If you love antiques, primitives, or photo opportunities then you know your in the right place when a scene like this presents itself at the entrance to the business. The kind owner was more than happy to let me walk around taking all the pics I wanted, needless to say I was overwhelmed by all the relics he had collected, the building was chocked full inside and out and the establishment should more properly be called a working museum. He wasn't that interested in selling as much as he was talking about the collection.
From the photographers standpoint the conditions in doors were just right, low light, dusty, no method to the way things were organized. I plan to revisit next time I'm in that area. Paired Photo - ROBERT ELLIS. This photo was taken in October, 2017, Robert Ellis(c)
