Brian Wright, Liberty, KY, filed Monday, December 4, 2017, to run for the office of Commonwealth’s Attorney for the 29th Judicial Circuit (Adair & Casey Counties) in the Tuesday May 22, 2018 election. Above Brian Wright and wife (Nikki) and their youngest son (Brady – age 10) at the filing, in Frankfort. Their oldest son (Coleman – age 13) wasn’t able to make the trip with them because of basketball. Wright formerly held the office, and was appointed by Gov. Bevin to serve in the post following the retirement of Gale Williams. I served as Commonwealth’s Attorney from 2002-2012 and was appointed by Gov. Bevin back to this position in April 2017, and have continued as CW Atty since then. I was also an Assistant CW’s Atty from 1998-2002.
