If you are cold and need it, please take this scarf
 2018-01-23 - columbia, KY - Photo by Mitzi McKinley Bault. When I hang this scarf, in the picture, I will have made and located a total of 57 scarves all around Columbia and Adair County. They are nothing fancy, but I just hope that someone who was cold was helped. It was heartwarming to see in last week's photo that another person, (they had not yet given their name, at the time - CM) has joined the effort putting out warm scarves around the square. Wrestling: Malakai Horton 1st place finisher in weight class

In the Kentucky youth regional wrestling tournament, Malakai Horton took home 1st place in his weight class in the Kentucky youth regional wrestling tournament held Sunday, January 21, 2018, in Louisville Ky qualifying him for the state tournament. Malakai competed with the Taylor county youth wrestling team. In the photo with Malakai is coach Chris Harrison and coach GT from the Taylor County program. - ELIZABETH HORTON.

Chester Taylor was the guest speaker at Adair Youth Development Center this past Friday. Chester was able to talk with the students from both an academic and vocational perspective as he holds both academic degrees as well and vocational certificates.
