Jessica Smith scholarship establishes endowment at LWC

The Jessica Smith Endowed Scholarship - affectingly called "The Jessica" in her memory - will benefit a women's golf student-athlete beginning with the 2018-19 academic year. The gift is made by Earl and Marlene Smith will endow a new scholarship fund for Lindsey Wilson College women's golfers. Jessica Smith was a two-time NAIA All-American (2008, 2010) while playing at Lindsey Wilson. Jessica was the 2009-10 Mid-South Conference Player of the Year and the 2008 NAIA Region XI Player of the Year. She earned all-tournament honors at the 2010 NAIA National Championship. - Chris Wells, Sports Information Director, Lindsey Wilson College
