This elk, carefully transported a short disance by helicopter, was released at the proposed site of the Appalachian Wildlife Center near Pineville, Bell County, KY. The transported to the site will serve as a source herd for future trapping and relocation efforts to increase populations and hunting opportunities in targeted areas of the elk zone and offer excellent research opportunities for the department. I have filed as a candidate for the office of Property Valuation Administrator (PVA) of Adair County. I am the son of Jeff and Rita Neat, who are longtime residents of this community. I met my lovely wife Michelle (Copley) Neat right here in Adair County while she attended Lindsey Wilson College. I have called Adair County home my entire life and to say I'm excited for the possibility of serving the people of this great community is an understatement. I graduated from Adair County High school before attending and graduating from Western Kentucky University with my Bachelor's degree and Morehead State University with a Master's of Business Administration degree. I serve as the Assistant Superintendent and Secretary at New Hope Separate Baptist Church, where my family and I have attended my entire life. I have managed a health care facility for the past several years which has provided me valuable management and budgetary experience which would serve me well in the PVA office. If elected, my goal is simple: to treat everyone fairly and respectfully, provide honest and unbiased valuations, and to offer my full commitment to the betterment of both the PVA office and Adair County, our home.
