After the mid-January snow a couple of weeks back, roads were cleared but freezing temperatures meant the snow blanketed the landscape for a few more days. This picture-postcard scene looking toward downtown Glens Fork, KY shows the hills and sky of winter in afternoon sun. At the bottom of the hill we had a choice of turning left on Hwy 55 South Road and going to Lake Cumberland in Russell County, or turning right and heading home to Columbia.
