Relatives give glimpses of weather across the country this week 2018-02-10 - IL, KY and CA - Photo Jeff, Missy and Mike. Three relatives have documented their weather in different pockets of the US and it doesn't even include the co-grandparents who are in the Florida sunshine as we speak. Jeff is in Chicago and he took the top photo of their winter storm as it was just beginning. Yes, it is indeed a flying mammal and in this picture, one can more readily identify the creature as a bat. However, this bat is not as big as a Bald Eagle as the picture seems to indicate. As a friend of mine in the Great Wooded South would often say, "its a optic delusion".
