2018-02-15 - Campbellsville Elementary School, 315 Roberts Road, Campbellsville, KY - Photo by Calen McKinney, Public Information Officer, Campbellsville Independent Schools. In Adrienne Hash's art classes, students are learning about how art can be functional. Above Hash helps kindergartener Andrew Stout as he forms his pinch pot. Hash also talked to her students about how art can show texture, such as how something feels. After their lesson, students made their own pinch pots. Students used their thumbs to pinch their clay and then shaped their pots. They then created texture on their pots by making designs. When the pots dry, students will decorate them with paint.
