One of the most beautiful dogs we've met defended its territory along a public road with the feel of a private passage in Adair County. It was firm, but polite, and it reminded us that had Geniece been along, she would have been better able to talk to the dog and calm it and make a lifetime friend. In earlier days, it seems, this breed was the most desired family pet, but today, they are a bit less popular. Hungry Kids Cafe coming to Farmers Market on the Square 2018-02-18 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Lois Cunningham. Lois Cunningham writes: "This is a picture of the building that will house the kids meals at the market. We'll be adding shelving and turning the doors into Dutch doors. There'll be a unique carrot shaped sign by Patsy Parson which will name the building the Hungry Kids Cafe. I have enough donations to pay for half of the building which will come from Williams Furniture in Columbia, wanting to keep whatever I do as local as possible. This is not part of the market but they support this completely. Nothing will be "sold," everything that the kids get will be totally free. If an adult would like anything, from coffee to a meal, they are welcome to make donations, but there will be no charges. I have insurance and an account under Hungry Kids Cafe. Of course all donations for building and food are greatly appreciated by me and all the kids." The Farmers Market on the Square begins in April. We spotted it in the beech forest, but it was hard to make out the face through the lens. Big brother Carson, left, is one of the members of the Paislee Mills fan club which includes great grandparents Dr. Roger Dale and Donna Smith of Columbia, among others. Carson Mills is ten and Paislee is 21 months and they are the children of Chase and Samantha Mills of Campbellsville. Grandparents are Gary and Leah Levi of Campbellsville and Charles and Mary Ann Mills of Lebanon, KY. Leah is Dr. Smith and Donna’s daughter. Their granddaughter Samantha is Dr. Smith's dental assistant in his office where he shared the news of Paislee's extraordinary genius.
