Admitting to grievous ignorance of local geography, I don't know, and couldn't find on all maps what the name of this delightful crossroad's village in Russell County is named, though it's been a favorite spot since first buying a sandwich on a bike ride to Wolf Creek Dam over 60 years ago. The photo was taken simply because of the way the signs line up, looking from Cape Circle down KY 323 across KY 55 and thence, the road rising to meet us on the other side to Bryan and Creelsboro. Is the town Olga? Old Olga? A Coca-Cola van, in the median, and a potato-chip semi-van on the shoulder and vehicles involved in clearing the wreckage and controlling traffic were still keeping the eastbound lanes closed at 11:15amCT, Thursday, March 29, 2018, when this photo was taken. One motorist, commuting from Cumberland County to her work in Glasgow who passed by the scene of the crash in the dark rainy hours of drive-to-work time, couldn't make out what the wreckage, was. "I thought a plane had crashed," she said.
