Courtney Grant teaches fourth grade science and social studies at Adair County Elementary School, where she has been working since 2015. She graduated from ACHS in 2009, and obtained her Bachelor in Elementary Education from Campbellsville University in 2013 and is working on her master’s degree at Lindsey Wilson College. She is married to Jordan Grant. Her parents are Peggy and David Gupton of Knifley, Ky. Cynthia Walker is an eighth grade reading teacher at Adair County Middle School where she has been teaching since 2006. She graduated from ACHS in 1979. In 1984, she obtained her bachelor’s degree from Campbellsville College, graduated from Western Kentucky University in 1986 and received her National Board Certification in 2009. Old Edmonton High School has been razed 2018-05-23 - Metcalfe County, KY - Photo by John Speer. John Speer, traveling through Edmonton, was surprised to see the old landmark, the two-story brick falling-down school that would have been gracing the hill at the tree line in this photo, had been reduced to the ground. His note said, "Not sure when the old Edmonton High School was razed but this morning was the first time I noticed it." I'm grateful John prepared me for it before I drove by. Many family members have attended there and it was part of our heritage.
