Things are changing fast at the old Adair County Fairgrounds site since the property was sold to Lindsey Wilson College. One thing remaining is the large concrete post in the right side of this picture, located to the right of the entry drive as you turn in. It looks to have been there for many years and it would be good to know why it was placed there. Hilda Legg, left, asked for a keepsake photo as she honored her longtime friend Sue Stivers, right, for the tireless work she has given in the Chamber of Commerce, and continuing in the Tourism Department. Legg was guest speaker at the annual Chamber of Commerce banquet. Stivers recently retired from the position of Chamber Executive Director and had a day named in her honor with a special event organized by incoming Director Ellen Zornes.
