Parents of the Columbia/Adair County Chamber of Commerce Business Woman of the Year, Wayne and Thelma Hatcher, center, waited patiently for their daughter Stacey Hatcher Wilson to be recognized at the May 29, 2018 banquet. Winners' identity is a guarded secret while Chamber leaders work quietly behind the scenes to let family and friends know who has won each year. Stacey said she had no idea but knew something was up when she discovered her family at the banquet after having just left them to go in a different direction a half hour before.
