Fleeting 1st mowing scene - square bales 1.3 miles from Square

This photo was taken early Thursday morning, on Franklin Family land. The Square Bales were a reminder of the days when the Shelley's owned the farm - probably before Round Bales took over. The scene was a fleeting one. This evening the bales - at least most of them - had been loaded up and carried away. - EW

City of Columbia Flags line Burkesville Street all the way to Lancaster Street. This one was photographed looking south, with June's happy morning cornflower in bloom. ACPC Camp Rocket students visit Pyles Family Farm

Adair County Primary Center students participating in Camp Rocket were guests today, June 7, 2018, at the Pyles Family Farm on Pelham Branch Road. They helped to feed the animals, petted some of the friendlier ones and cooled off with popsicles before heading back to the school. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed getting out and enjoying this beautiful day in the country.
