Dramatized Campbellsville Street & Fairground intersection
2018-06-15 - Fairground Street, looking W toward Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. An unusual glimpse of the intersection of KY 206 and KY 55, looking west through the windshield on a recent evening. A couple or so buttons in the processor created this admittedly bizarro scene. The beautiful load of first hay, headed north, is very real, however. - EW

'Mangolia' Blossoms on S Reed Street, Columbia, KY
2018-06-15 - Downtown Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. Taken Stotts Construction. Never see a Magnolia Blossom without saying "Mangolia," and remembering an announcer - from well east of Columbia - on a start up radio station, reading a funeral announcement from LaRue County, KY, which would be held in "Mangolia." Now have to be careful not to pronounce the tree name that delightful dj's way. - EW

ATS Mobility & Greer Excavating changing the face of GRCP - IV
2018-06-14 - Green River Commerce Park, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com. Greer Excavating of Knifley, KY, a firm more famed for site work in huge firms in Dunnville, KY, took time out to take care of urgent site work needed to keep ATS on track in its expansion in Green River Commerce Park. Greer Excavating is owned by Greg Greer. When the projected month long site work is done, ATS Mobility/Wilkerson Transport plans to build another manufacturing facility, which may see the companies' employment increasing to 50 people. Right now, employment is maintained in the 41-45 range. ATS Mobility converts Toyotas, Fords, Ram/Dodge/Chrysler vehicles for assisted transportation for patients needing wheelchair lifts. - EW

2018-06-14 - Green River Commerce Park, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
